Frequently Asked Questions for DonorsWhom should I contact about making a donation to the Academy?Please do not hesitate to send your inquiry to Donations@ronclarkacademy.com; we are extremely excited about developing partnerships with those interested in supporting our mission.
Are donations tax deductible?Yes, the Ron Clark Academy is a 501(c)3, and all donations are tax deductible. Upon making an online donation, individuals will receive a confirmation email that can be used for documentation. All donors who contribute $250 or more will receive an additional letter in the mail for IRS purposes.
Will I receive additional documentation from the Academy?Yes. Donations received now will fund our programs in 2007 and 2008. In the fall of 2007, donors will receive thank you notes from our students, our school newsletter and other Academy updates.
What happens if I sponsor a child's tuition for one year?Tuition sponsors will receive letters from their students throughout the year, post cards from our trips, progress reports and report cards, and invitations to all Academy events such as graduation, plays and athletic events.
Is it possible to sponsor a child as a group?Yes, it is possible for a group of individuals to sponsor a child. For example, a group of ten friends may each contribute $1400. The group will then mentor the student together, and each friend will receive communication from the child, post cards, and copies of progress reports.
Is it possible to pay on a monthly or quarterly basis?Yes. We will accept monthly or quarterly contributions. For tuition sponsors, we do emphasize the importance of timely payments since our budget for student enrollment is based upon scholarships that have been pledged.
Does RCA accept in-kind donations?Absolutely. If you have materials, furniture, supplies, or other resources that you would like to contribute, please contact us.
