Please note:  Our summer conference will be held on June 6th–8th.  We are accepting registration for both conferences online at www.ronclarkacademy.com.Space for both conferences is limited.  Be sure to register early to secure your spot!

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

Friday Night (7:30 P.M. – 10:30 P.M.)

Conference Kick-off and Movie Night 

Participants will hear a keynote address delivered by Ron Clark, followed by a viewing of the Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated movie, The Ron Clark Story.  Join the entire RCA faculty for popcorn, surprises, and a Q and A with Ron about the movie followed by a book signing.  Refreshments will be served.

Saturday (8:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.)

Concurrent Sessions

Participants will rotate through two-hour staff development workshops taught by Ron Clark, Kim Bearden, and other members

Workshop sessions will include:

•  How To Have a Creative Classroom in a Time of Increased Accountability

•  Vocabulary and Reading in the Content Areas

•  Hands-on Science

•  Ron Clark’s Math Methods for Raising Test Scores!

•  Innovative Strategies for Connecting with Parents and the Community

•  Setting Student Expectations to Foster Excellence

•  Implementing the Essential 55...and more!

Throughout the day, buses will bring participants to the Ron Clark Academy for tours of the facility, led by RCA students and other members of the RCA staff.  The students will also perform during lunch.

A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.  Dinner will not be provided, but hors d’oeuvres will be served at the evening event. 

Saturday Night (8:00 – 11:00 P.M.)

Prom Night

Take a walk down memory lane with us at our own Prom Night.  Join us in your favorite prom outfit—taffeta and polyester are highly encouraged.  Compete against Ron in our dance contest, have a prom picture made with Ron, or campaign for Prom King or Queen.  It will be a night to remember!

Sunday Morning (9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.)

Conference Wrap-up and Giveaway Session

Led by Ron Clark, this session will tie together all that was learned throughout the conference.  Breakfast will be served, and there will be great giveaways and surprises for all!

Registration Cost:  $495 per person.  All proceeds from conference registration go to support student scholarships.  Registration fees include all workshops, evening events, and 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch.  Travel and hotel accommodations are not included.  However, after registering for the conference, you will receive our deep-discount rate for your stay at the award-winning Marriott Atlanta Marquis.
