RCA and Pace Go Toe-to-Toe

March 21, 2009 - In an effort to celebrate their own version of March Madness this basketball season, students from The Ron Clark Academy and Pace Academy held a 3-on-3 basketball tournament.  The event was held at the Inman Gymnasium on Pace’s campus in Northwest Atlanta.Students, properly clad in their respective t-shirts, played several friendly games against one another.  To add to the festivities, faculty from each team took to the court to play an abbreviated game.  The Pace Knights came out on top but not without a good fight from RCA.Parents, students, and community leaders participated in this first-time event.  All participants were asked to make a $10 donation towards Pace’s Diversity Fund, which will ultimately help provide a scholarship for a RCA student to attend Pace Academy once he/she graduates from the 8^th grade.
