RCA's First Field Day

What would the end of a school year be without a day filled with fun in the sun?  The Ron Clark Academy held its first annual Field Day to celebrate the close of a phenomenal school year.  The New Schools of Carver, a nearby friend of the Academy, shared its football field for this special occasion.

Students participated in a host of organized games and events ranging from football Frisbee to relay races to brain teasers.  As always, RCAP (the Ron Clark Academy Parents Association) stepped up to the plate to assist with food and refreshments.

While no official awards were given, RCA students (and faculty) shined on the field.  Mr. Clark joined in for the three-legged race, while Mrs. Bearden monitored the wheel barrow race from the sidelines.  Water balloon tosses, tug of war and several rounds of musical chairs were all a part of the festivities.
