Educators’ Conference Huge Success!

                               EDUCATORS' CONFERENCE HUGE SUCCESS!

More than 400 educators from across the globe gathered in Atlanta to participate in The Ron Clark Academy’s Winter Educators’ Conference.   The sold out event was held both at the W Midtown Hotel and on the Academy’s campus.

CONFERENCE

Attendees kicked off the conference on Friday night at the 14th Street Playhouse watching a phenomenal musical written and performed d by RCA students.  Afterwards, they heard the opening conference keynote with Ron Clark.

CONFERENCE

Saturday was spent in workshops conducted by the Academy’s award-winning faculty.  Educators had the opportunity to visit the school campus for half of the day to attend staff development training, observe classroom teaching, and participate in special RCA traditions, including the “Slide Certification.”   The other half of the day was spent in additional training workshops at the hotel.

Then, after a full day of learning, it was time to party at the prom!  Saturday evening, dressed in their most elaborately tacky 80’s prom attire, RCA faculty and staff hosted a prom night for all conference guests.  Everyone danced the night away.  Finally, on Sunday, conference attendees participated in a special presentation sponsored by Promethean, Inc., highlighting the unique ways in which Promethean “Active Boards” are using technology to transform how teachers teach in classrooms.  Bringing the weekend to a close, Ron Clark held a special book signing for all attendees!

The next conference will be June 12-14th. Space is limited so register now!
