Comcast Cares Day

Gallons of paint, several roller brushes, yards of plastic, and close to a hundred pairs of hands…the formula for a successful Comcast Cares Day at the Ron Clark Academy.  Comcast, which has been a friend of the Academy since the beginning, chose our school as one of its many sites to host a volunteer clean up day.

In addition to RCA students, their parents and staff, Comcast had close to 75 of its employees from all over the metro Atlanta area to participate.  A couple of special guests also stopped by to lend a hand including, City Councilmen C. T. Martin and Caesar Mitchell.

Volunteers used this opportunity to spruce up the campus with light landscaping work.  The larger task at hand was to help clean out the Academy’s warehouse, painting its walls and buffing the floor.   To balance out the hard work with a little fun, wacky prizes were raffled off to all participants and everyone took home a Comcast Cares t-shirt!
Thank you Comcast for helping beautify our campus!
