ATLANTA – November 30, 2010 – The Atlanta CEO Council announced today that registration is open for its year end networking event at the Ron Clark Academy on December 6, 2010 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

This evening is open to the community and offers a unique opportunity to attend an exclusive Atlanta CEO Council event, mingle with some of Atlanta’s key business leaders and experience the innovative learning environment of the Ron Clark Academy.

This year’s event will include “Are you Smarter than an RCAer?”, a dynamic contest between Atlanta CEO Council business executives and RCA students.  During the contest, a group of CEOs led by Sig Mosley, president, Imlay Investments, Inc., will test their knowledge and luck against talented students from the Ron Clark Academy. Contestants include Bert Ellis, CEO of Ellis Communications and former chairman and founder of iXL Enterprises; Charlie Paparelli, president, Paparelli Ventures, Wain Kellum, CEO of Vocalocity, Kelly Gay, CEO, Omnilink and other surprise guests.

“The Ron Clark Academy is a bright light in our community which sets us apart,” said John Bacon, Atlanta entrepreneur, investor and member of Atlanta CEO Council. “As we embrace and support this incredibly innovative education solution, we will see clear benefits which reach into many phases of our business and personal lives. Few initiatives are good for both business and soul, but RCA certainly is!”

Last year’s event raised a year’s tuition for a Ron Clark Academy student. The organization hopes for another successful event this year. Ron Clark Academy strives to teach children in innovative, creative ways. The Atlanta CEO Council supports the Ron Clark Academy in its preparation of the future leaders of tomorrow.
