I love placing information my students need to learn into rap songs. It always motivates them and really gets them excited about learning the content. I have been working this summer on recording some of my songs that I used in my classroom, and I now have a CD available called "The Essential Raps." The songs come on an enhanced-CD that works in a CD player or on the computer. When placed in a computer, you can download lyrics and lesson plans and watch raps of me discussing each song and giving tips on how to conduct each lesson and use music to motivate children to learn.
